Our current production systems are incorporated inside two, ISO 9002 compliant manufacturing facilities. Production capacity and our corporate headquarters are located within a 125,000 square feet facility in Jefferson, Ohio. We also operate a 50,000 square feet plant in Ashtabula, Ohio that features a five-ton crane bay and 25 foot high ceilings. Both facilities have full sprinkler protection. We pride ourselves on being in constant compliance with all applicable O.S.H.A. and EPA requirements. Both plants are located about one hour east of Cleveland, Ohio and are easily accessible from major interstate highways.
Management Styles
Our progressive management style allows us to dedicate ourselves to the customer.
We utilize programs such as SPC and JIT to service our customers' needs more effectively. When coupled with our EDI-capable, computer-automated office system, we can accurately track production scheduling and job costing from raw material inputs to the final finished parts.
Work cell manufacturing allows us to manage and control costs specific to each customer.
Our work cell management style also creates ownership within each production team.
This allows our 170 associates to develop expertise in producing superior fabricated parts while providing
our customers a cost-effective product with continuous quality improvement.
Tooling
The key to our success has been how we effectively tailor our in-house tooling capabilities to meet our customers’ production requirements.
Why spend $30,000 when $10,000 will do? Let our experienced design team help get you started in the right direction. We can show you how to save money through part consolidation and insert molding. We will also recommend the molding process that most economically fits your needs.
We incorporate five molding systems:
Hand Lay-Up
This process offers a high gloss, gel coated surface, low startup costs, economical fiberglass tooling and fast entry into the market place.
Spray-Up
Spray-up is excellent for applications where larger parts or moderate volume is applicable. Tooling is also relatively inexpensive using this molding system.
fiberglass fabricator, fiber reinforced plastic, fiberglass panels, carbon fiber,
compression molded plastic, urethane, resin transfer molding, rtm production, smc, srim.
Resin Infusion
This system produces both small and large parts with two smooth surfaces. In fact we have formed parts as large as 30' by 7' in size using this method. Resin infusion couples the benefits of Hand Lay-Up and Spray-Up with added strength and lower labor costs. The process uses a vacuum to draw resin through glass reinforcement places inside the molds. Glass content as high as 60% is achievable which adds strength to the product. Labor costs are also typically lower using this molding system.
Cold Forming
Using matched plastic dies created to your specifications, this molding system efficiently produces parts that are characteristically smooth on both sides, have a uniform wall thickness and a high glass content. With plastic dies, the results are achieved at a fraction of the cost of steel tooling.
Compression Molding
Compression molding is the best option when our customers have high volume production requirements. This results in unit prices that are drastically lower than the previously described molding methods.
